THOMAS J. HEARITY IS NAMED VICE PRESIDENT OF ADMINISTRATION, GENERAL COUNSEL AND CORPORATE SECRETARY OF LYNCH INTERACTIVE

RYE, New York, January 24, 2007, Lynch Interactive Corporation (Pink Sheets®: LICT) announced today that Thomas J. Hearity, formerly Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Celanese Corporation, has been appointed as Vice President of Administration, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Lynch Interactive Corporation.

Prior to joining Celanese, Mr. Hearity held various positions at Charter Communications, Inc., NYNEX Corporation, AT & T, and the law firm of Sidley Austin. Mr. Hearity holds a B.A. and a J.D. degree from the University of Iowa.
